Vintage Rose
Well thanks to a super Nonnacookbooker, I learnt how to quilt in record time! Nonna was very patient with me and taught me all the necessary skills. She even let me “borrow” all the material I needed. I called my first quilt “vintage rose” and I can’t wait to snuggle up in front of the tv with it!
Thanks Nonnacookbooker – you’re the best!

I don’t know if anyone has read this book but I have just recently finished it and I can’t tell you how interested I’ve become in quilting! It’s consuming my mind. lol. I wounder if it is expensive to take up and hard? I haven’t looked into it yet, but obviously am thinking about it :)

Since watching reruns of Project Runway, I am super interested in learning how to quilt like Jay McCarroll.

...and I’m not talking the traditional old fashioned style quilts. I’ve seen some really cool modern “contemporary” looking ones that I’d LOVE to have! I received an awesome sewing machine for x-mas a few years ago and have not had the time nor patience to sit down and learn how to do it. Maybe I need to go take some classes?

I loved it! I have bought some quilt kits and will be taking another class in December. I’m planning a “hoochie mama” quilt next.
