Saturday was the last game of the season. I learned a lot of things about communication (with 6 year-olds and with their parents), time-management, teamwork, motivating children, etc.
I’d like to try this again soon, but probably not next season.

Yesterday I learned what NOT to do. Drills where each teammate is waiting their turn to try something. Practice quickly got out of control. I need to find drills where everyone on the team is active at the same time.
Here are some soccer games/drills for young children:

I’m the coach for my sons’ soccer team, The Rockets. I’ve never done this before, so I’m learning as I go.

Procrastinating on finishing the coursework. I have a month to do it in. Easy you say, but I had 3 months at first. What am I waiting for and why the delay? Because I dont think I’m up to it and don’t think I can face the judgement.

The UEFA B licence is a difficult one to get and will take hours of practice and dedication but I’m willing to put in the effort I’ll get there. Just trying to achieve should improve my coaching immensely but the proof will be in my team’s performance.
