    I spent 6 years in Northern California. Hated the first 2 loved the rest (with ups and downs of course). It’s really great being surrounded by local businesses, sustainable agriculture, lefty politics and a gorgeous enviroment. The people can go a bit over the edge sometimes, but overall it’s a rejuvenating experience. Definitely a world of it’s own, for better or worse.
