So I’ve been doing my push ups but I realize that I also need to do arm curls to get toned. So I’m using two 5-pound weights to do 20-30 arm curls in addition to the push ups. I know this is not going to happen over night. one day at a time!

I really want to tone my arm muscles. I’m going to be in a few weddings in 2009 and want my arms to look good instead of flabby.
I plan on doing 30 push ups every day to make this happen!
They are getting stronger and more toned and I’m looving it. Now I just have to keep exercising them and I might have some great arms this summer :D

..erm.. what motivation?
So, so lazy to get moving, to break a sweat, to even move myself through the motions. I need to have another goal that says, when it comes to exercise, don’t think, just do!

..had some leftover work to settle before I leave. When I got home, had dinner and watched Amazing Race Asia. Toyed with the idea of cycling while I watch TV, but I was just too tired. I seem to be exhausted quite often lately. It bothers me but I’m hoping that getting more sleep will fix it.

The aerobics session yesterday had us doing a lot of lifts and curls. Today my shoulders feel so sore and every movement hurts.. though in a good way (I think). I should do more squats like how we were taught yesterday, my technique was wrong coz my knee is still giving me grief, but I know how to do it right. Will make some time for it this weekend.

while watching CSI Miami, don’t know if it was worthwhile, whether it helped much, but I don’t want to risk injury either. This goal may take me a while.

..that I want toned arms. Apart from how displeased I am with the state of my biceps and triceps, I also know that the weight training will do wonders for my metabolism and overall weight-loss effort.
The last two days I woke up and aimed straight for the bike. This morning, I did some weight lifting.. nothing major, just to get me started. Just did curls, flyes and extensions. My biweekly aerobics are on, we usually spend around 15 minutes on weights. That helps me learn the right technique so I can do it properly at home on my own. The plan would be to do the exercises at least 3 times a week. I know this will not happen overnight, but I’m willing to be patient and take the time to achieve this goal slowly but surely.
