institute universal heath care in the United States

Seriously. why hasn’t this been done already. GWB says he doesn’t like the idea because he doesn’t like the idea of the government getting involved in peoples’ personal lives. I think many if not most americans would be glad to have the government taking care of their health care needs. It’s when the government dictates what can and cannot go on in someone’s bedroom that american’s personal lives are being invaded. why is it illegal for a person to drive a car without insurance but the same is untrue for health insurance? Why are we spending hundreds of Billions (yes billions) of dollars on war when that money could have provided millions of american with health care? Sorry for the rambling. The world becomes a much more frustrating place to live in the more i know about it.
