Really started paying attention to healthy food this year 2 years ago

I have tried a lot of different kinds of foods this year! I can’t believe how many different things I have eaten. My biggest goal for this year is to lose 60 lbs, and another goal is to try something new or scary each week so I guess that’s how I started eating, and trying a lot of new healthy foods.

It’s a great way to add variety to your diet, and who knows, maybe you might find something that you really, really like eating so it’s worth experimenting.

I feel better in myself. Yeah i get the urge 4 chocolate & what not but most of the time i have started eating health.

I’m starting 2 find health alternitives 4 the foods i like

Starting having chicken & lean pork

I bought a steamer now so i don’t buy tins of veggs anymore i buy either frozen or fresh

My mum & dad bought me & my parnter a smoothy maker 4 Christmas so iv’e started making raspberry & natural yogurt smoothies.
I also have a juicer but i have mostly use the citrus press 2 make my own fruit juices

Carrot juice- not nice tasted nothing like soild carrots & it made me feel quite sick
Rice Milk- Sweet but tasted really weird & i’m not sure i liked it
Flora(marg) must admit i’m not missing clover 2much although clover(butter) as much as i thought i would but butter did taste nicer in mash potatoes
Raspberry & natrual yogurt smoothies- really nice lovley & creamy & a great way 2 eat yogurt
Fresh juice- most people think that there isn’t a differnce between carton juice & your own juice but i think there is it’s more refreshing
Tried oat cakes there a bit dry but with a low fat soft cheese they taste really nice
Noodles are really nice with pan fried mushrooms
Sweet potatoes- Theses are quite nice like in the name they are sweet but do taste quite earthy
Broccil- I din’t enjoy trying this it was horrible it felt like
i was eating a bush or something. Not nice
Frozen clawflower & green beans- Tasted nice not much difference from fresh but compared to tins it tasted more health
Iv’e starting eating wholemeal bread & no longer feel the urge 4 white bread which is a good thing plus i don’t feel as blotated.

Things to try:-
Fresh apple jucie but i got a feeling it gonna take a lot of apples
Wholewheat pasta
Sweet potato Fries
Olive oil- instead of vegtable oil
Soya milk
Chic Peas

Iv’e starting eating wholemeal bread & no longer feel the urge 4 white bread which is a good thing.
