A Girl in the Curl is back in school
did I grow up very near Colma a city where the dead outnumber the living,(Informally, as of December 2006, Colma had “1,500 aboveground residents … and 1.5 million underground”) but when I travel I like to visit famous graves.
One of my favorite cemeteries EVER is Pere Lachaise Cemetery
I left Edith Piaf a rose, Oscar Wilde my lip-prints, and just said “hey” to Jim Morrison because his grave is guarded by security. There are SO MANY famous people buried here, I think it’s required to be famous.
By far, my most favorite cemetery is the Glasgow Necropolis in Glasgow, Scotland. It’s up way high on a spooky hill above the cathedral…I took some really great pics of it (very gothic and spooky!)
