How to complete my MBA
It made me
proud
 "A lot of worthwhile work."
How I did it: Slowly. I had to take 5 prereq classes before I could start the program. Once I did, I took 2 classes a semester while I worked full time. I took classes at night, usually 4 nights a week and would do homework and readings on the weekend. Going to grad school helped me learn to prioritize and manage my time. Lessons & tips: Once a semester I would go through a period of time when I would question why I was putting myself through all the stress and time away from loved ones. I would question if it was worth it. I had the support from a significant other that was undying. I was thankful I had him to encourage me along the way. Resources: amazon and ebay for books! |

So, I’ve researched postgraduate options here in Singapore. Part-time NUS MBA is the most cost-friendly next to SMU’s Master of Science in Applied Finance. Of course, I’m still very much considering the IMMIT program at the moment. This goal is a priority for 2009.

It has been slow going with my job and the way I travel but I have been plugging along. I’m over half way finished and work has been footing the bill.

I will finally graduate at the end of June, just 4 more days to go! It has been a fantastic 2 years because I have experienced and accomplished so much as well. I have fulfilled an important dream and I can finally settle down!
