How I did it: I tried every way I knew how. I bought and read books. I did online training videos. Taught bits that I learned to others. Read dozens and dozens of blog posts. Took an abbreviated class. Worked on a project side-by-side with an expert. I think a few times I even listened to a couple episodes of 'the flex show' podcast while driving on a road trip!
Lessons & tips: Don't give up, and don't be afraid to ask for help!

And I am beginning to work on small flex projects here and there. I can’t claim that I know it in and out, but I can already tell it’s totally worth it!
I wanted to learn this from very earlier, when Flex2 launched. but I did not get any proper place to do that. But now I can.

Hey, i have been able to learn some good stuff on adobe Flex , i made a little drag an drop shoping cart demo and a Chekers game that plays against you (using lisp and a little of ai teory)....and now i am working in a photo galerry….

half makes sense to me, yet is half mumbo jumbo. MXML is so much clearer to me yet I know that Flex just won’t do too much until you start making your own custom Actionscript!!

Seems to be an increasing-in-popularity tool, and ties well with some of my other goals – like learning flash and becoming a usability specialist. :)

In all my spare time (ha), I have been watching training videos on lynda.com on Flex and am really getting a kick out of it. Last week, I began development of a new site entirely in Flex. It’s amazing what you can do with this language. The folks at Macromedia / Adobe have done a really fine job and have thought through a lot of typical interface problems. I can’t wait to see this technology flourish on the web!

I just got back from the Adobe MAX conference and my head is chock full of information. Flex isn’t as tough as I had previously though, but I still have a ways to go on integrating databases correctly.
