Put my self first

Funny, this is something I always assumed was being selfish; but as a wife and mother, more and more as time goes by I realize how important it is to take care of yourself. I am of no use to anyone if I’m not up to “snuff”. I’m a helper, always there for everyone even almost at anytime you need me. I’m always here to listen no matter how draining it can be. I’ve been told I’m a natural at helping others reach their goals and solve their problems but I’ve had to learn (over the last 2 1/2years) to start being a natural at fulfilling my wants and needs first. Still a work in progress…..
