Even though the 1st marking period has ended I must say I’m super duper happy with my grade! 95 plus greatly accomplished and this taught me one thing—hard work really pays off but like my dad always tell me that you shouldn’t be too happy with just one grade because there should be more coming and you’re not only obliged to having one good grade because a person should always have the motivation to do their best or at least try to do their best. With that said, of course I’m not stopping here because I know I’m gonna do better and better… well hopefully =)

Well the last report card definetly did not say 90% but rather a decent 81.5% however there were two courses that brought my mark down considerably. I have decided that this is my year though, 90% will get me where I want to go, all I have to do is work hard now to achieve it! I am taking interesting courses where they are done sort of through corespondance, where you work at your own pace, I plan or working very hard and pushing ahead now so that I can have more spares and time off. This will mean that come exam time I will only go to school every other day giving me tonnes of time to study. So here is the deal, I need to gain 9.5% by the middle of february. To apply for scholarships.
I need to gain
Philosophy-6% for a mark of 94
Business-8% for a mark of 94
Challenge and Change-2% for a mark of 96
English-4% for a mark of 91
Earth and Space-20%! for a mark of 85
Exercise Science-15% for a mark of 87
Family Studies-^Possibility-96
This results in a total average of 91.16%
So I know this is hard but I am going to try my absolute best and work harder than i have ever worked before.

53 way down there rock bottom
there’s a difference between studying hard and getting a good grade, studying hard and getting a low grade and not really studying and getting a bad grade. i think i’m with the last choice. nts: study & i mean really study.
looks like its not going to happen soon. i understand you have to work for a good grade but what if you don’t have time for it? if it wasn’t for a 10 pt curve i probably failed already but at least i tried? nts: 72
“try hard, try harder, try your hardest”
schoolschoolschool i’m definitely not a nerd even though i do want to be one :P it’s hard to concentrate on school if you have another billion of stuff in your life you know. many of my friends certainly agree to me having many blonde moments. i admit it myself to but it’s ok. even though they’re cracking jokes on me, i learned that i, myself knows that i’m smart in the inside so it’s all good. lately school has been stressful because of work and him but i’m trying my best to hang on. haven’t fail any test yet and certainly hope i won’t. taking 2 AP classes definitely makes it much harder but hey they are worth it right? but i’m going to try my best to do good in school, i mean after all my goal is to rank in the top 100 among all juniors :P
Ok well I’m going into Grade 12 and I’m really excited but also really scared for this year. I’m excited because its the alst year, but I’m also scarred because you need good marks and I really want them. My goal may seem a little much but I know that if I am determined and work really really super hard it will be possible. Its totally worth the hard work though for scholarships and such!
