Miguel Gutierrez looking for a new job and enrolling in postgraduate studies
I wanna write a page at least. I would write it in Spanish, because I’m not prepared to do it in English. It would be much more difficult for me.

How to write every day"Hard work but worth it."
How I did it: I had to change my way of thinking about writing considerably. Initially, despite blogging for years, I was convinced that only non-online writing is writing. Lessons & tips: Take part in blog carnivals and writing prompts. This provides great inspiration when the muse is in hiding, and other participants often provide good feedback too. Resources: Writing blogs such as And most of the top writing sites in the Writing and Literature category on Entrecard.

KARITIGER is reading and writing on the computer
How I did it: I go to my computer and blog, read my email and respond, and some days I write on my novels or edit them. Some days I write poetry, some days just lists of things I need to do.. some days I write out my goals.. I have found that it really does not matter what I am writing as long as I am writing. How I did it: There are so many things to be heard if only you are *listening*. It is not difficult, you just must be persistent. If that means forcing out lines, then do so. It is important to give your writing time though as well. Don't think that you will write a respectable piece of poetry so easily. Keep with it and be passionate about what you write. How I did it: Had to meet a 1667 word a day goal daily, without fussing too much about the quality of the writing - just getting a first draft out! Coming to terms with the fact that not everything can be final-draft quality at first draft enabled me to start writing much more frequently. Read how I did it…

even if it’s little or a rant or something. I need to get back into the habit.
I’ve taken to carrying a notebook with me and writing about at least one place I find myself during the day, focusing on really vivid description. It’s fun, it’s adding to my personal journal at the end of the day, and I think it’s helping me get back into the flow.

I’ve always enjoyed reading and writing, even as a little girl. In grade school I would write stories and have a lot of fun with it. When I got into middle school writing wasn’t for fun anymore, it was work. Writing became a chore and it became a lot harder because I wasn’t writing what I wanted to be writing. In my freshman year of high school I stopped writing anything that wasn’t necessary for school and I was miserable. In the beginning of my sophomore year a lot changed in my life. I began writing poetry as a way to express myself because I felt as though I couldn’t anywhere but on paper. Now I am heading into my junior year and feel like I can do more than write a few poems once in a while. I am going to write every day. Maybe share a few of the stories in my head.

I’ve kept a journal since 4th grade, but I’ve never had the self-control and determination to write every single day.

I’m working my way through Julia Cameron’s “Right to Write” It’s scary but productive. Getting better about pages and about doing small fiction exercises. I consider this improvement.
Streaks of 18, 47 and currently 16 days in a row writing about three pages. So far every time I have fallen off the wagon I have been able to get back to it the next day. I have a feeling missing two days in a row would be my undoing.
