I’m considering a BS in IT at an online school. It would be cheaper and it’s something that I actually enjoy doing as far as work is concerned. Wrenching is a hobby and only a hobby.

I’ll have to get real with this goal since I am coming to terms that those “specialty” schools are expensive. For what? I just want to know what I am doing and be able to do it well; i’m not expecting to get a job with the education. I don’t need it. Comm. college classes are a better choice.

it’s a great thing to follow one’s passion. i’m not sure where or when just yet, but this is something I’ve wanted to do for a while – “just because”.
