Today I attended a Muslim prayer at my school, and although I did not understand the language. There prayer helped me to relax and prepare for an evening of reading.

I almost forgot … I am relaxing a bit more due to my biweekly Saturday morning massages. My masseuse is great and it definitely helps!
First off this eternally cold pillow thing was so hard to set up. You have to pour a bunch of water into it, wait, press out air a few times … way too much prep. Anyway, it is very heavy. When we flip our pillows to the cool side it only stays that way for awhile. Trust me – unless you’re sunburned you do not want to lay on a cold pillow all night. Plus it’s almost winter. It gave me cramps in my neck and shoulders. Here’s the clincher – I was letting my cat rest on it after I realized I didn’t like it. It has a vinyl covering and yes, she punctured it with one of her claws. Bad kitty or good kitty? You decide. The Chillow was a bad experience for sure! I just purchased a Tempurpedic pillow. Let’s give this a shot.
I can feel my anxiety quickly returning, as I am working on a major project and it is very stressful. I will probably be working on it until June of 2006. I purchased a Chillow pillow. It keeps your pillow eternally cool. Let’s see if I can sleep well due to that. I’ll keep you all posted.
I got so relaxed from my new meditation CD last night that I fell asleep! I will try it again tonight.
