How I did it: I went to Uni-k-Wax and asked the lady for a brazilian. :). I also asked for the buttocks strip. The lady warned me that it was very painful and that for the first time she reccomends a deep bikini. I went on ahead with the full brazilian because that was my goal. It was very painful. Lessons & tips: This is definitely not for the shy. You are completely bottomless. A stranger powders you and makes you lay down in a froggie poistion. The waxing is very painful especially the area around the landing strip. I loved the results and the hair definitely grew back thinner and slower. For me personally, it beats out shaving. How I did it: I'll be honest, on the recommendation of many web pages I did take 1 pain killer about 30 minutes before.The beautician asked me to take off my skirt but I kept my underwear on and she just moved it over to the sides and was given a cover to preserve my modesty when possible! How I did it: I checked on the internet for a good studio to get it done, called a friend and told her that she needed to do it with me, since we both didn´t quite dare to do it alone. ^^ The lady who did it was very friendly and did a great job making me feel comfortable. everytime i shave, I remind myself how much i would rather wax…ive done it myself and it hurt so f-ing much..It was an effort to do the whole thing =P It couldnt hurt anymore than that right?? Also i have a scar from a REALLY bad ingrown hair and i am heaps worried that the waxxer will think i have a disease or something and refuse to do it….How embarassing!? xx HELP?
I really wanna get one done, but I’m nervous. Not so much about the pain, but whenever I do any waxing of my eyebrows I break out horribly in little white, painless, non-itchy bumps that don’t go away for weeks. It looks horrible. So, I generally do not get my eyebrows waxed.
I’m worried that this might happen if I get a brazilian…that would be UNACCEPTABLE. Lol! Has anyone had this happen or is it just that the skin around my eyebrows is very sensitive?

Got it done once before, and it hurt alot, but i’m fed up using the Nair and Veet stuff that don’t work too well. Have a date next saturday night, so i’m planning a 5* makeover in order to feel great.
Although I really want this done right now. It seems silly to put myself through the pain without:
a)a man in the picture
b)sunny weather
c)much of a social life (courtesy of exams)
So I’m going to book myself in for late June at the local day spa. At least two of the above things should be covered by then!

Probably I will be until I have to take a seat in that chair… I have my first appointment on Saturday, but luckily I don´t have to go alone, a friend is coming along to get in done too! Right now we´re feeling kinda SATC-like, maybe this takes the nervousness away. I hate the shaving and I the blades are not 100% sharp my skin itches afterward, so I hope this is not too painful and a real shaving alternative!
