I booked my appointment for a full leg and Brazilian for the 21/12/09. They’re using hot wax for the bikini area, which apparently reduces the pain. I’m glad I just went ahead to book it, I know the results will be worth it, no matter how painful :)

Brazilliant is getting her life back :P
How I did it: Well, Its easier for me since I am brazilian and this is part of my culture, but still took me a while to go very into the complete clean brazilian wax, just because I had in my mind that this could be too much. I was wrong :)So the first thing that I did is find about the methods ( I suggest the hot wax, because the cold seams like less painfull, but actually doenst help, is not that good to open all cells that you need to provide the sm… Read how I did it…

How I did it: walked into the place and got an appointment.took off my pants.let the lady put on the wax, and then waited for it to get ripped off.i'm a very hairy girl. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Well, I've actually been wanting to do it for quite some time but never plucked up enough courage. SOO one day, I was feeling really stressed out from school and my upcoming exams that I just booked an appointment, made my way down and voila! It wasn't as painful as some people made it out to be. I feel as though waxing your underarms is more painful actually. I wasn't uncomfortable because my therapist was very professional about it and a… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I checked on the internet for a good studio to get it done, called a friend and told her that she needed to do it with me, since we both didn´t quite dare to do it alone. ^^ The lady who did it was very friendly and did a great job making me feel comfortable. It didn´t even hurt that much. Sure, it´s not the most desirable feeling in the world having someone put hot wax onto some of the most sensitive skin of your body and then rip it off… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went to my local Uni K Wax. I've been getting my eyebrows, upper lip, & underarms done there forever, and I like it. I don't know if it's worth it yet, as I just did it today. The sucky part is that, since I'm hispanic and we tend to be pretty hairy I guess, and hair grows in cycles, there is definitely some tiny hairs still growing in that it wasn't able to catch the first time. Basically, if I want it as sm… Read how I did it…

ostseemaedchen is feeling good
Oh my god, it’s only two weeks now. I’m frightened to say the least. Did it ever happpen to anyone that they ripped off more than should be? Like skin?
ostseemaedchen is feeling good
I looked up several professional studios and I think I’ll be going to get one in about three or four weeks.
I’m a little peeved about letting everything “grow”, I dislike that but I definitely want to try waxing. In the same turn I’ll let them wax my legs, I think. The prices are really good, I was surprised. 26€ for a brazlian is really cheap. At the same time the studios look really well-kept and professional.
I just hope a woman will do it, I’d feel awkward if I had a male “waxer”. ;)
Brazilians are expensive. The cheapest one I could find offered withing 40 miles of my house is 75 dollars. I am so not paying that. So I’m getting a waxing kit to try at home.
The pain definitely doesn’t bother me. So whatever. I tried Sally Hansen’s Naturally Bare Brazilian wax, and it didn’t work. It didn’t hurt like I thought it would, but I didn’t pull enough hairs to be worth doing.
I found reviews online for surgi brazilian wax kit, and they were all pretty good, plus the kit is less than 5 dollars, so I ordered it, and I’m going to give it a try.
razors suck. ugh.
carpediem14 preoccupied with NaNoWriMo
so my friend and i are going to do this together, within the next week, hopefully, but we’re actually going to sart with just a bikini.
and we’re going to do it ourselves. I know it doesnt sound like the best idea, but since i dont feel much pain when i pluck, im not worried about a professional making it less painful, and i feel more comfortable doing it myself, at least for the first time.
everytime i shave, I remind myself how much i would rather wax…ive done it myself and it hurt so f-ing much..It was an effort to do the whole thing =P It couldnt hurt anymore than that right?? Also i have a scar from a REALLY bad ingrown hair and i am heaps worried that the waxxer will think i have a disease or something and refuse to do it….How embarassing!? xx HELP?
I really wanna get one done, but I’m nervous. Not so much about the pain, but whenever I do any waxing of my eyebrows I break out horribly in little white, painless, non-itchy bumps that don’t go away for weeks. It looks horrible. So, I generally do not get my eyebrows waxed.
I’m worried that this might happen if I get a brazilian…that would be UNACCEPTABLE. Lol! Has anyone had this happen or is it just that the skin around my eyebrows is very sensitive?
charlski is chillen
I want it, for obvious reasons as well. Think I can bite through the pain, but right now I just think it’s a bit expensive.
SkinnyPosh is planning next weekend!!! All the possibilities ;-)
Got it done once before, and it hurt alot, but i’m fed up using the Nair and Veet stuff that don’t work too well. Have a date next saturday night, so i’m planning a 5* makeover in order to feel great.
spun_sugarr perfecting her lifelist!
Actually, that’s a bit incorrect. I want to get laser hair removal equivalent to a Brazilian…
