Who killed the electric car?

I watched an amazing documentary a couple of weeks ago titled Who Killed The Electric Car? This film has further fueled my desire to purchase a hybrid or electric car and really stick it to the automotive industry for dropping the ball so long ago. And to even further my desire, they are bringing out a new electric model-even better than the EV1. The Tesla Roadster. This car is hot! Check out the article about it here.
