Weight Watchers has a running for beginners program, that I’m doing so that it’d teach me the “correct” way to run. At any rate, I haven’t even tried in like, forever, so it makes sense to begin at the beginning, right???

I huff and I puff, and I blow my lungs out….or at least I used to. It has to be said. I run like a girl. A fat girl who is out of breath a lot sooner than she should be. I am not ashamed to admit this, because the first step is admitting that you have a problem, right?. BUT, I’m working on it, and quite proud of my efforts yesterday. It was easy at the gym, on the treadmill, in my own little world. Kenneth says I run like I’m trying to impress someone (him? NAH!) I say I run like I want to keep up. HELLO! He went to FAMU on a track scholarship! Talk about pressure! But I’m working on it, so take THAT, Mr. Sir!

doesn’t really count toward this goal, because we run, but we walk more than run. We walk, talk, take in the sights, and more so spend time with each other rather than exercise. They’re putting up the tree. It’s beautiful! I’d say the most I actually ran this morning non-stop, though, was less than 1/2 mile, so it really shouldn’t count. I’ll get back to this after school tomorrow.

I found a segment along the trail that runs 1 1/2 mile from one intersection to another along the way. My goal is to be able to run down and back nonstop (the next spot I measured was another mile, totaling 5, but that’s after I get this one done). Anyway, I went today, and ran much more than walked, but acknowledging that I did walk is not acceptable. I’ve gotta keep at it until I can run this nonstop.
The total time was 57 minutes; before that it took me from 1 1/2 oto 2 hours when I was walking.

So on saturday for wrestling we had to do this thing called the called the fun run which was three miles. Not fun. I don’t think it was worth it because like seriously why do you need running for wrestling? i know for like stanima and crap like that but three fucking miles?
im the only girl on the team and guys are usually the ones that run faster. even theough we had to run up and down a hill and around this park called jbwilliams it was hell. but it was the end for hell week so at least thats over.
im done spealing about this now
