The Empress Knows what Rivers Know: There is no hurry. is embracing the unexpected...
I have an expensive mirror that I’ve owned for six years and never hung up!
I’ve lived in five places, and I finally got that mirror mounted on the wall.
Yay!

I have an expensive mirror that I’ve owned for six years and never hung up!
I’ve lived in five places, and I finally got that mirror mounted on the wall.
Yay!
The Empress Knows what Rivers Know: There is no hurry. is embracing the unexpected...
The OBF decided to skip the graveyard shift last night, and come home to watch tv with me!
I took a few minutes before he got home to pick up things in my bedroom, and to hang my Vision Board.
Everything is being done imperfectly, but it’s getting done!
The Empress Knows what Rivers Know: There is no hurry. is embracing the unexpected...
And so we begin again!
I spent 15 minutes this morning unpacking a couple of boxes and putting things away.
Perfectionism kills, and so I’m working on just getting things into the general place where they are supposed to be, and then I can fine-tune them later.
Just for today, that feels right to me.
The Empress Knows what Rivers Know: There is no hurry. is embracing the unexpected...
Well, almost out, anyway!
As much as I’ve de-cluttered in preparation forthe move, I know there will be more to let go of as I unpack. There’s always more to let go of…
The Empress Knows what Rivers Know: There is no hurry. is embracing the unexpected...
So, I guess I’m sort of starting over with this goal… I’m doing a ruthless de-cluttering as I pack to move… you got it: 15 minutes per day!
The Empress Knows what Rivers Know: There is no hurry. is embracing the unexpected...
Made my way through all the drawers in the past couple of days.
I was thinking, “I’m all done, nothing left to do here” and then I remembered: Under the Sink.
sigh
Guess what I’m doing tonight?
The Empress Knows what Rivers Know: There is no hurry. is embracing the unexpected...
Two birds with one stone: I got caught up on my Letting Go goal, and this came along for the ride today.
Something I aspire to is living in a home with nothing to hide: I want people to be able to snoop to their heart’s content, and find nothing but order in all the drawers, closets, and cabinets.
Today, I got a lot closer to that goal!
The Empress Knows what Rivers Know: There is no hurry. is embracing the unexpected...
Not much to declutter, but I put some things away, cleaned & tidied up. It’s amazing how a little work makes a place feel a lot better!
The Empress Knows what Rivers Know: There is no hurry. is embracing the unexpected...
I got rid of the TV altogether, changed the living room furniture around, de-cluttered the bedroom, and got new sheets and a duvet.
It feels like a different apartment than it did 24 hours ago.
Yippie!
The Empress Knows what Rivers Know: There is no hurry. is embracing the unexpected...
I think one of the reasons that I procrastinate on this is that I like to see sweeping changes, and instant results.
Today’s 15 minutes left me with more questions than answers, and I’m uncomfortable with that.
But the reality is that tossed out half a dozen small items, and that is progress. It’s hard to believe that these six small things will make a difference in the quality of my life, but every unwanted, un-needed, unloved item in my home is drawing energy that I need to be effective in my life.
The small things matter.
