How to bring my lunch to work and eat what i bring
How I did it: This took planning - from grocery lists to recipe books. And I listened to myself and prepared tsty things that I would actually enjoy eating instead of just bringing random stuff that ends up sitting in the fridge at work and going bad.
Lessons & tips: Love yourself and what you put into your body

I am going to bring my own lunch tomorrow—and actually eat it instead of buying something.
Sometimes, I feel “turned off” by the lunches I make for myself. Perhaps if I made them more tasty and attractive, I’d be more interested in eating them.

I’m marking this as done -as not only have i been able to keep it up for over for a month, but i don’t see this ever changing. I actually had a hand with this though – and it crossed over into another goal – finding a new and better job. It worked out fantastically that this new job has a crappy high-school style canteen with sausage rolls, pies and crappy pasta, meaning i don’t have the oppertunity to buy my lunch at work unless i travel to the nearest shopping centre. I’ve had alot of help out from my best friend as well god bless her – we cook together on weekends and keep home cooked frozen meals in the freezer for both of us to take to work.
I consider this done, now that I have been doing it, it is part of my routine, and will remain so. I recommend.
I’m doing very well with this.. Once I’ve got it down and am sticking to it regularly for a while then I’ll consider this task done. It’s certainly been worth it. I eat, I eat better and I eat cheaper.
It’s been three days in a row that I’ve brough lunch to work. I’m SO proud of myself! I was thinking that I should calculate the money I would have used to pay for lunch at work and then put that amount into my savings. Or better yet, put the money towards my debt.
As long as I keep making my lunch for work the day before I’ll be okay. If I can do that for one week, it should be way easier for me to keep doing it.
Yay to me!
i make extra dinner the night before, or make a sandwich when i’m making the kids lunches for school, and i always eat it because i HATE wasting food.
I did indeed remember to make a sandwich and bring it to work, and I ate it. Now, if I can just start getting some little bags and start bringing some carrots, or chips or something.. i’ll be set.. and saving quite a bit of money.
I’m in such a habitual routine with leaving the house, that I completely forget to bring lunch with me, even if I’ve made something. This is a bit more important now that i don’t go home from work, but rather go straight to school.
