complete my graphic design degree

...which I have been procrastinating on forever… and then I signed up for summer/fall classes… art history, Illustration and Computer for Graphics 1 to look forward too.

Maybe I’ll complete this goal before I’m thirty. I doubt it though… Its hard doing art and working…

A lot of people in this field seem to be whiz kids that are half my age. Ha Ha, good thing I look younger than I appear! I hope it doesn’t matter that I’m not a ‘bright, young professional’ to land some freelance work. I see that phrase a little too much.
I LOVE my school and what I’m learning. I love gaining this knowledge and training because I’ve wanted to know about all this for a looong time.
My bus up there is an assignment I completed a couple months ago. Learning to use Type to reflect the personality of the product…in Illustrator.

I have now completed my first ever semester at college… with straight A’s!! Who knew? I am going back in September to do another 3 course and I’m so chuffed to pieces right now. I took english and photography this semester and it was an amazing experience. If your older and want to go back to college I highly recommend it.

June 5th… first step on the loooong road. Maybe someone will write an impressive success story about me one day… I will be taking English and photography this summer. It’s very very exciting.
