find a new hobby

Well, I used to string fluorescent colored beads into necklaces as a little girl, and now my friend has gotten me interested in “adult” beading. No more big plastic beads for me!

I’ve made a couple of necklaces and some bracelets…a couple of glitches where a couple of jewelry pieces weren’t so secure, and a piece or two that looks child-ish, but I’m working on it!

I’m now addicted to World of Warcraft :p

I hear they have a local directory at my local library. I’ll start there. . .

While rock climbing is not new to me, it is something I have not done in 3 years. We went this past weekend with some friends and had a great time, although I have to conquer the fear that holds you back when your 4o feet up clinging to a wall. I’ll see how often we go going forward before I decide whether this counts as a new hobby.

today from the library! haven’t done that in a super long time.

I think a new hobby would add something more to my life, wether it be a solitary hobbie, or something that helps me with my social skills, it’s all good. At the mo I’ve got reading, videogames, going on the computer and boxing.

Learn something new to enjoy and expand your interests.

It’s not so easy to find new hobbies in a small town, especially when you have to stay shut up inside with the furnace on for 4 1/2 months!

I’m going to try not to let that get in my way.

I just need to find some things I’d be interested in doing…
