Twice this week I ended up in a restaurant alone because it seemed a better option than staying at home. Somehow a 23yr old out on her own isn’t socially acceptable. At job #2 we have middle aged women come in on their own, but not young ones.
When you’ve tried every trick in the book, you get tired and just want to go out alone without trying to have social interaction.
