keegan727 needs to get a bunch of HW done!! And soon...
I had no idea what this was…but saw there were a ton of people who had this on their to-do lists. Check out waymarking.com and geocaching.com. I would totally go geocaching right now…if it weren’t for the fact that it’s pitch dark out and there is snow on the ground. I wish I lived in a much warmer place so this could be done all year round!

I had a gps for camping and somehow I’ve lost it. I’m looking into finding a reasonably priced used one that I can play around with.
I’m thinking of making some caches out of my old Nalgene bottles that I’m not supposed to drink out of anymore.

Jaime hoping to catch up on blogging today
I guess I can put a check mark by it? LOL
I definitely recommend going with someone else who already has all the equipment first just in case you don’t enjoy it. that way you don’t have the expense associated with it…
Still, we had a blast and hopefully next year we’ll be able to have our own system and get out and about to “play” more often.

This was so much fun! We’ve tried several “family friendly” geocaches with friends and it was a blast! I can’t wait to save up and grab my own system. This is such a fun way to explore your area, get some time outdoors, and actually do something fun as a family.
