This was an interesting goal to complete. I didn’t have any trouble remembering, since I got into the habit of doing it every night right after getting into bed. There were days, though, when I went to bed late and was tired and not in the mood, but my dedication to this goal kept me going, and I really do believe that I gave it my best every single night. I don’t intend to stop doing this now that the goal is complete, but I don’t plan to do it every single day. At least once a week, though.

I’ve gotten in the habit of doing this every night right before I go to sleep – and so far, I have done it every day since I started.
Last night, I had what I thought was an interesting insight. As I was visualizing various “scenes” that represented peace to me – the ways people would interact with one another in peaceful ways – I had a flash of loving myself as much as I possibly could, and that if everyone did this – if each person on the planet truly loved him- or herself – then there really WOULD be peace, because when we’re really operating out of a space of love, there is no room for hatred or intolerance or any of the other things that case disharmony between people. So, I might focus my next few meditations on this. It felt pretty good last night.
I didn’t actually do this on the day I posted the first entry, so that doesn’t count as day 1. But I did start the following day, and have done it every day since. Usually right before going to sleep at night.
As part of my Rosicrucian studies, I’ve learned a meditation which is meant to help create peace in our world. I’ve decided to commit to doing this meditation daily, and I thought a great way to get in the habit would be to make it a goal. Today (August 20) is Day 1.
