I can even fill out applications with greater ease, knowing that by telling the truth, I have overcome another hurdle in communicating, even if some potential employers decide that something I write in my application is a reason NOT to hire me. At least we get that over with from the get go, and don’t have to enter in a contract with secrets kept that might surface later.
