How to shower in the rain by whatsaheather

"Somewhat chilly but generally satisfying."

How I did it: I just went into my backyard on a rainy day with shampoo, conditioner, and soap in tow.

I stripped down, making sure to remain carefully hidden by the privacy fence.
It took longer than a normal shower because the water pressure of falling rain isn't exactly optimal.

Lessons & tips: Make sure it isn't too cold or it won't be very enjoyable, I imagine.

    I did this due to having no other choice. The place I was staying had no running water and I had just done 6 hours of exercise…in the sun, so a shower was happening and no one would stop me. Took my shampoo and body wash and just…stood in the rain and washed.

    ... yeah it was a downpour when i started the shower and it decided to lighten up right when I had soap in my hair….

    .... i was there for a while praying that it would start raining again.

    But, totally 100% worth it. its a feeling that can’t really be explained.

    It may sound strange, I would like to do this, especally with my fiance.
    I think it would grant a different, if not better, atmosphere to do this; I picture doing this on my father’s 40 acres of land out by the 500 year old oak tree. it is where I would at times, find myself in rain storms.
    It feels good, standing out in the rain, looking out at your surroundings; all of that beautiful scenery…

    I did this when I lived in Texas. I lived on 5+ acres. It started raining and I just stepped out the back door and let the rain wash over me. I soaped up, rinsed off, then went back into my snug house. Very exhilarating….
