I have mini goats as pets. They make lovely pets, very friendly, smart and cute. Wethers seem to make the best pets – very affectionate, quiet and consistent in their behaviour. Does can be erratic at times.
I keep them on a small suburban block, so noise can be a problem sometimes, but mostly they are no trouble at all.

I got 12 nanny Boar goats about 12 months ago. They are easy to keep and contrary to the stereotype, haven’t jumped fences or been a nucance. I got them to help control blackberries, which they have done an excellent job of doing!
