SugarVixen finally was able to check some of her weight loss goals off her list!!
Starts this week, I hope I like it. I get to go with my best friend and I’m excited about it, we’re also baking together the same day, so two of my goals are covered at once and I get to see my best friend weekly!!! I like that!

julia2 is wondering what to do next.
Well, I was invited to another bible study, but I turned it down. It’s over 30 minutes away, and on a work night. I know I just would be too tired the next day. It ends at 8:45, so I wouldn’t be home until about 9:30, and that means I wouldn’t be with my family at all on Mondays- so they weren’t too keen on the idea. I’m sure there is something better for me that will turn up.

I am requesting that God just figure this one out for me. I am at a loss of what to do about this, but I do desire to be a part of a really good bible study where I will learn lots.

I loved it and got so much out of it. I’m doing a new study at home now, but will keep my eyes out for another group study. I think it’s good for me to continue to interact with others to worship together.

I just love my study. The group is a mix of mostly older people, but I am getting so much out of the material. I feel like it is absolutely geared to me most of the time. I’ve missed this sense of being connected, of learning more about God. We’re on week six and I can’t wait for the next half.

I’ve gone two weeks in a row so I’m ready to say I’ve done this. We are studying Hebrews and I am so glad I’m involved. I had really missed being in a women’s bible study. I think fellowship is a really big part of God’s plan for Christian life. It is also the part I struggle with the most. It is so much easier for me to hibernate with a bible and not want to interact and create relationships with other Christians. This will always be something I have to focus on. Thankfully I know God constantly (gently) nudges me on.

A woman in the church I go to has a bible study every Wednesday at lunch (I’ll just take an extra 30 min. for my lunch break) in her home. It is small group of women of all different ages and from all different denominations. I only know the woman hosting the study so I’m looking forward to meeting the rest of the ladies. We will go through different books of the Bible. Also a Men & Women’s Christianity Explored starts later this month.

I actually started this last week and I’m really looking forward to the next class. This is a 12-week Beth Moore study on Daniel. She’s a little over the top with the accent and the hair, but it’s definitely geared to me. It’s about living life with integrity. I’d like to do that again.

I’m in a small church and there isn’t any bible studies available yet. I’m thinking of possible starting one. Time is always an issue as I’m a working mom, but growing in Christ is priority number one.
