Still working on the habit of using my Control Journal every day, but it is there and ready for use so this goal is now complete.

Tweaking 5 months ago

Following my daily routines and tweaking things as I go. They’re starting to get easier to do, building the habit. I have really noticed how much of a difference it makes when I’m in an area where the decluttering process has been completed, or is well on the way. Everything can be done so quickly without all that non-essential stuff getting in the way.

Need to update and schedule tasks 6 months ago

Looks like a good tool…I have the Achieve Planner, but it needs to be updated badly. Just another piece in the puzzle. Hopefully I can get good ideas from others too.

Finally getting around to doing this 6 months ago

I’ve been meaning to do this for such a long time. Finally started :)

I’m using a desk sized daytimer planner. So far I have our contact information in there, plus details on doctors, vet, tax agent plus TFN’s. Still a lot of stuff to add to this section.

I’ve got a rough before bed, morning and afternoon routine jotted down and a weekly plan started. They all still need a lot of work.

But it’s started, that’s the important thing!

eh well, 20 months ago

...it’s in electronic form but you know what, it works for me and I like it :). I have already thought about it all and now I just have to make sure I do it all :). I feel very proud of me this week, before I finally did the laundry (at the commercial launderette outside) and the shopping for the week on wednesday and friday. also I have friends coming over tomorrow and I have everything + the house is clean + I am really really going to enjoy a relaxed and stress-free weekend and yes I was tired after work but I still went and did the shopping and now it feels GOOD! I scheduled jogging with my friends tomorrow morning instead of grocery shopping and I am just so excited about the weekend!!! Thanks FLYLADY!

more or less done... 20 months ago

eh well, I went through the steps after 12 and they are all more or less contact information stuff, emergencies, etc. which I did in as much as it applies to me…

Hmmm, so here is what I have so far:

1. Morning routine
2. Evening Routine
3. After work routine
4. List of things that have to go in my purse each night
5. Shopping Lists for food
6. Detailed Cleaning Lists for all common rooms
7. Detailed cleaning list for my room
8. MISSING: Cleaning schedule for the next months on the wall
9. Emergency phone numbers list

OTHER things I want in there:

10. BUDGET for the month

offf…now the point is in actually implementing…hehe…I always used to start in the morning – first things first, however I recently had the thought that it is better to start in the evening…hehe maybe I will start tonight why not…but I think I can cross this goal off quite soon :)

weekly schedule 20 months ago

the weekly schedule is more or less shaping up:

- Monday – theater night (no cleaning :)
- Tuesday – jogging + facial at home and/or other beauty procedures
- Wednesday – cleaning (1/2 hour tops); spend the evening at home
- Thursday – jogging + make a shopping list
- Friday – shopping (I found the hours of the two shops I normally go to – one is open until 7 pm and the other one until 9 pm). So generally I can go to the first one on my way back from work and the other one afterwards; then I have enough time to get ready for going out
- Saturday is for going out, shopping for clothes
- Sunday – cultural things, + swimming + laundry every two weeks (I have to go the commercial launderette, so I can’t do the daily flylday thing); ideally I would move the laundry to wednesday but it’s a bit hard as the place closes at 8:30 and normally I come back at 7pm, so it’s not enough time to do it on a weekday; however I think there is another place close by where I can go and perhaps I should try there – they might have longer hours?

cleaning lists - weekly and monthly 20 months ago

I have all cleaning lists for the week and the month and I even discussed with my roommate and she likes them, now i have them printed and I will post them on the wall with of course a beautiful frame and all that I am going to make myself. I love doing those creative/decoration projects that are kind of like the cherry on the ice cream! hehe, but I have another goal, which is to go to bed at a decent hour and it’s already almost 11, so I guess I am going to be creative another time :) maybe tomorrow :), I have brushed my teeth and I am in PJs as I am writing this…wohooo…

oops 20 months ago

I had totally forgotten about it! thanks 43 things for having all my ideas and desires nealty stored! Good that I gave a biiiig window of time. I think I’ll work more on the control journal now, because my plans for friday night got cancelled. the problem is that I had other options too, but I said no, because I had promised my other friends and now they casually told me they don’t feel like doing anything any more because they had a drink after work. Well, I was also invited by 2 different groups of friends for a drink after work and I said no because I kept my commitment…I really hate it when people do that, so next time I am just going to take any invitation that comes and not bother about promises I have made before…but, well, at least I get to do the control journal, what fun, eh?
