Finished room one!  — 2 years ago

This goal will take forever.. but I am done with the first room…my master bath has been transformed! I painted the cieling a light aqua called Watery and the walls are painted a bluish green aqua called Peacock Plume. I bought new shower curtains, new towels and some fun things. I need some artwork and finsihing touches, but The most important thing right now is to get the paint on the walls. I have years to add the details.
It looks so good!! Im so excited!

Seeking Colors!  — 2 years ago

This offwhite boring crap has to go! I painted the upstairs hall bath a nice bright-light blue, and it looks so cheery. Time to tackle the rest of this dump.

Now to decide which room gets it next…
    Powder room: burnt orange?
    Kitchen: Tomato Red?
Laundry room: get rid of the Pee-stain Yellow and turn it Lime Green?

It is color I seek, and color I shall find!!

Master bath  — 2 years ago

The previous owners had some big mirror squares glued to the wall, so I removed them, which was quite a chore! They were stuck on pretty good, so now the wall is pretty well torn up. I’m going to have to do alot of prep work before I even paint!!
I was hoping to be on my way with this project by the end of the month.

it really needs it  — 2 years ago

My new house is beautiful except is was decorated by the tacky previous owners. I’m talkin’ really ugly, dark pink, a hideoulsy loud blue with splotches, and country peach. Oh, lots of glossy evergreen too. This is going to be a large undertaking because I will have to prime most of the walls at least once. Even the white needs to be painted because it is flat paint and not easy to clean. I have three small kids, so this won’t do. ALL the woodwork in the house needs to be stained and sanded too. Lots of work for a house that is only six years old.
