I’ve never been a runner, but this fall I want to train for a 5k.
I know running’s bad on joints, esp the knees, but I figure doing it once won’t kill me. ;-)
Here’s hoping!
I will try to update when I find a group to train with, get some good trainers, and as my time & endurance progress.

I have to take the weekend off from my training plan and I hope it doesn’t throw me off too badly. I was in a car accident yesterday and I’m holding off on any major exertion until after I see the chiropractor tomorrow. Once I get the all-clear, I’ll be back in action.

I am on day 7 of a 5 weeks to a 5k training plan. I’ve switched a few days around here and there, but so far, I’m making awesome progress. I even went to the gym to work out yesterday when my fiance was in town visiting – that is dedication!!

Ashley is working up the motivation to write my paper...
I have begun training for a 5K about three times over the past two years. I get about three weeks into it, and then I stop. I am not active at all, so I’m going to start out slow and after about eight weeks of training, I should be able to run a 5K without stopping.

I would love to train for a 5k, and my goal is to run it this summer. I have looked up scheduals for doing so on line, and I think it just might be possable! ;)

It’s the run time of the year for me to start this, but I would love to be a runner! (and losing 10lbs would be nice too!)

Until recently I ran about 3-4 days a week, about 4 miles each time. But, with my area of the country filled with smoke and some health problems, I quit—or at least cut back a lot. Now I find that I am getting woefully out of shape. I also can’t seem to find the time to run. But, an all female race is coming up next month and I hope to be ready.

I’m back where I started. My work hours this week (4am-5pm) left me too tired to run! I am trying to shift my schedule to running before work, but it has been hard for me to get myself to sleep before 10:30-11-ish. The sleep deprevation has kept me from running in the evening. Never fear! The sun is still shining and I’ll keep on trying!
