I’ve always been fat, never medically obese, just fatter than everyone else.
i was 140 last year and i’m 150 now. i can’t go on like this and i’ve always dreamed of becoming skinny. I’m really excited to loose this extra weight that i’ve been carrying around for so many years and i have some good motivation :) i’m going south in march for 2 weeks and there are beeches and heat and bikinis. so i have to look good for that! We go there every year and last year was the last year of fat bathing suit body. It’s time to blow everyone away! it’s going to be one of the hardest things i’ve ever done, but i think i’m ready now.
How to weigh 115lbs
How I did it: Quite frankly- I just stopped drinking soda. I hadn't realized that I'd lost the weight. People kept telling me I looked thinner... but I didn't see it. I am sure that working and going to school [both full time] helped to keep me from eating as much as normal, and that added to the weight loss. I'm not even really sure when I dropped the weight. I just know that I weighed myself at Christmas- and voila! under 115.
Lessons & tips: Read labels [or look up nutrition information]. Being aware of how many calories you are consuming is half the battle. Dont be too worried if you go over a couple times- this actually helps keep your metabolism in check.
Resources: sparkpeople.com --- i used to use this site, haven't been there in a year or so-- but it is a great way to keep track of things and the forums provide support.

I cant believe my cholesterol level now. And its not about the weight thing since I weigh pretty much the same as last month. There’s got to be something wrong with what i eat. How can there be such a great difference from last month’s?! I better prioritize this one.

So Im enrolling myself to a gym.. I lost 5 lbs when I got sick the other week and it looks like Im gaining them back..Im feeling hopeless about this goal so I better do this quick.

So I’ve decided to divide this into several subgoals..
1. Recasting period
2. Exercise
3. New food
So I usually do not care about my weight, because it’s all about how I feel… but lately I’ve noticed that when I’m a bit blue, I feel enormous. I’m 5’2 and weigh around 120. So, I’m not huge. I went from being a size 2 [6 months ago] to not being able button my size 4’s. Realistically, I prefer my size 7s [because they are nice and loose and comfortable.] - I’ve got a bit of a pooch now, that I didn’t have before.
I look my best between 115 and 118… so I’m shooting for 115.
It’s time to stop drinking soda, cut the crap, and eat smaller portions!

It was wrong for me to start this while I’m doing a related goal so I’ll be focusing on this goal starting July 1. I would probably follow the book I read. No diets – just healthy living.
