How I did it: We knew each other since 7th grade, but back then I never would have seen myself going out with him. He was an odd child, but a nice friend. One day I invited him and my friends over for a movie night and then it hit me I like my best guy friend. He found out and we ended up dating for awhile to get to know each other better to see if we would want to pursue a relationship.
