see social distortion live

This is the 30th anniversary tour, which is damn impressive. We got there a bit late and missed the Strangers, but caught Civet (who were smashingly entertaining, hard rocking dames), and Social Distortion were incredible. An excellent, thoroughly satisfying show. We even managed to snag a couple of rare seats – I haven’t been pit game for some years now, so it was nice to kick back with some pints, admire our new shirts, and thoroughly enjoy the music without getting kicked in the face. Looking forward to the new album.

We’ve had tickets & looked forward to this for a while now – we so rarely get to see live bands these days. Vanessa is coming over for dinner and then hanging out with Isak while we go to the show. Wow – we’ve actually managed to get out three times this week!

I really want to see them live. Too bad they don’t play in Europe too often :( I don’t think they ever played in Norway. I guess I could combine a trip to US with a concert.
I have to start saving for a trip!
