something I’m going to be working on for the rest of my life, or hers at least. But we’re getting better. In high school I wasn’t fair at all, I had a double standard and always assumed the worst of anything she suggested for me.

Now I’m twenty-one, am learning how to share and be myself around her, and I think we’re taking steps in the right direction. She’s a strong woman, even if we don’t see eye to eye on everything.
