I have never voted before, just simply because I think that my right NOT TO vote is just as important as my right TO vote. Plus I think all government and council systems are corrupt all over the world, so I doubt it will much difference?
Well today we had our local and european polling stations open so I went around, and there were no queues so it didn’t even take 2 minutes.
There weren’t any fun parties to vote for, such as a Baked Bean Party, or a Hot Air Ballooning Party, so I just voted for the only non-nazi-swine party there was. And I’m just happy to let people know I helped to give out anti-nazi (anti-BNP) flyers.

I’ve put it off long enough. this election means much more to me as a mom than it did when I decided not to vote four years ago. considering this election will be one of the most historical, I feel that I must be a part of this. it’s so important to me now. :]

I have everything ready to vote September 2nd, which is Tuesday. I’m actually pretty excited, which is silly given that it’s only a circuit court election, but it’s the first time that I have a chance to vote.
I did all of my research and have chosen all of my candidates. Now I just have to make time to get to the polls.

So as it turns out, it’s really pretty hard to find information about the campaigns that circuit judges run. But, I got my sample ballot in the mail (so that you can tell who all’s running and do your research beforehand… handy) and I’ve been doing the best I can.
This is the first election in which I can actually vote because back when I was a Texas resident, Dallas County would never send me my absentee ballot. Good times.
