Ultimate goal: Become fluent in Chinese

There’s a television show on around 5 pm on the Chinese language station that teaches Chinese. It’s a little hard to follow, but it’s subtitled and relatively interesting.
Next, I’d like to check out some children’s books (the kind with English alongside) and do some reading.
