feels like weight.
I am letting go.
Scrapbooking should be a fun hobby.
An acquaintance told me that she scrapbooks various pages and makes the books later if at all.
One day vacation pictures, another day pictures of her dog. It sounds more easy going that way. More fun.

I am just getting ready to start my wedding book. I joined with some work friends who love to scrapbook to meet once a month to share ideas and help each other out. This way we share supplies which can be expensive plus they are often more creative than me. I would make copies of your pictures and be careful that the supplies you use (paper, glue) are acid free otherwise things will yellow over time, also beware of glues its best to spend a little more for the good stuff so you don’t get bubbly pages.

I finally realized that I HATE scrapbooking. So I went online to a photo place and had them create me a photo album. Took 5 minutes and I now have a nice wedding album.

I made a page! It took me at least four hours, and I was so stressed about accidentally gluing something crooked or getting glue where it didn’t belong. Which I did both of, but it isn’t too obvious. I will probably spread this project out some more (read procrastinate). Hopefully have it finished by our anniversary in July.

I’m afraid Scrapbooking materials are very expensive. Anyone know? Do I have to buy all the scissors and equipment to get started? Maybe I’ll borrow my moms!
So, is it weird to have a wedding album and a scrapbook wedding album? I guess not. The scrapbook will have all the fun stuff – invitations, Save the Date, Program, etc…
I think this will be a summer project when classes end and will be much fun!

I scanned all of the photos. I had a lot more than I thought! Today I went to Michael’s and bought some more supplies. Now I just need to do some visualization of what I want it to look like. I would like to make copies of the professionally done photos. I am thinking about using the “order prints” option on flickr.

Scan Photos.
Last week I made sure I had all my pictures and scrapbooking materials in one accessible place. This week I aim to scan the photos. Maybe look around online for ideas on how to maybe alter a few and make them more scrapbookish?

I can’t believe I still haven’t done this! I really need to get it togeher.. I need a plan. We actually don’t have several photos. At least not that many that I like. I was thinking of including some photos from when we were dating, and making it into “the story of us”. Maybe it could be an ongoing scrapbook collection?

It’s a awesome way to keep the memory of one of the most important days of your life. I am not yet married, but I am in the process of scrapbooking my best friends wedding.

SuperHussy has not been here for a couple of months! *SIGH*
Actually, I have a good friend who is Ms. Super Scrapbook. She offered and I accepted. It is a great way tho showcase your wedding photos and, if done right, no one will have the same thing you do. Three cheers for uniqueness and creativity!
