see the Rocky Horror Picture Show

I have seen it before. Hubby knows many of the extra lines that go with it. We have recently learned that another friend has NEVER seen it, and his partner has seen it many many times & knows the extra lines too. I think this will be a RHPS party. FUN!

One of my good friends is starring in Rocky Horror this weekend at the Michigan Theatre.

GO ME!

ahhh.. last night was sooo awesome! A small group of friends and I traveled for an hour to get to a theatre to see the show. I dressed up as Frank and my friend vero and her boyfriend dressed up like brad and janet, only she was brad and he was janet.. they’re awesome. We all got sacrificed in the pre-show and it was fucking amazing. We can’t make the trip there too often, but we’re looking out for special showings closer to home for halloween!

Saw it back in 93 in Sydney Australia… think Jason Donovan was in it… was ok.

I used to be in a shadow cast when I was in college—two years as Columbia and two years as Janet. It took a lot of liquid courage for me to strip to a bra and half slip with my far-from-perfect figure. But I did it…and I’m damned proud of it! Not to mention, there’s nothing like getting felt up by a guy in gold lamee undies in front of a couple hundred people! And this is coming from a normally quite modest person.

Now I’m making it a goal to get back. I’m pretty sure I won’t have the opportunity to be in a shadow cast, but I want to go see RHPS at the Music Box (in Chicago) on Halloween.

Because Rocky kicks fucking ass. If you haven’t gone to see it, you’re a virgin. Been more than 3 times and you’re a slut.

One of the most beautiful things in life is being able (and proud enough) to bust out the time warp at the drop of a hat. Doing a closed knee, pelvic trust in public has to be one of the most fun things known to man. Seriously. You look like an idiot to people who have never seen it, but you also gain respect from those who have.
