How to see Metallica live

"I had high expectations and they did not disappoint."
How I did it: When I realized they were in Toronto at the ACC I scrounged to find tickets. I found some on an online ticket resale site and thought I had secured them. They contacted me days later, asking for a photocopy of my driver's license to apparently prove my identity. Needless to say, I did not comply. My Dad called in a favour from a kind friend and the next thing you know, I have one of the best seats in the house. Thanks Dad!!
Lessons & tips: Using online ticket resale websites - not a good idea. Seeing Metallica live in the concert despite the huge cost - best. idea. ever.

I’m not going. u_u
There are just too many problems; I wouldn’t be able to get the tickets by mail anymore, I don’t really have any extra money now, the only tickets I could have even thought about buying were pretty bad ones (the seats were in the back of the stadium), how could I get there, where would I stay, and queuing with 40 000+ people would be just pure agony (the last time Metallica played in Helsinki the organizing of these things was a catastrophe).
I’ll wait for the next time. Hope it’s soon.

A week ‘till the show,
I’m going to see if I can manage to get tickets still! They might be too expensive, I’m hoping for a small miracle here.

I saw them here in Finland in the summer of 2004
and that was possibly one of the finest days in my life!

This band is so very important to me, I can’t even tell you how much they mean to me.
I’d love to see them many many times again. They are coming to Finland on July, but I’m not sure if I can get tickets. :/ I do hope so, but it might be a tad difficult – and very expensive.

i saw them in the late 80’s, the And Justice For All tour. it was an amazing time to see this band and i regret not seeing more artists of that age live.
The Police … i’ll never get over not seeing them live before their time was over. i’ve seen (and talked to) Andy Summers however, and have seen Sting a couple of times at small venues.
but still if only i’d seen them in their “then” ... sigh.
