"It's New York City, enough said! "
How I did it: Well, first I shopped around different websites (expedia, travelosity, cheaptickets) for flights and hotels. I stayed in Manhattan and because it was off season, the tickets were cheaper ($340 for hotel and flight) it was a real bargain! Which allowed me to have more money to spend in the city. Then I went to the library and checked out some books about the different attractions, and the best way to do it. I made a list of everything I wanted to see there and then scheduled the activities based on the day.
Lessons & tips: Do your homework so that you can see everything.
I saw:
-The statue of liberty
-Brooklyn bridge
-Museum of Modern Art
-Metropolitan museum of Art
-Broadway show (West side story)
-Empire state building
-Chrysler building
-Top of the rock
-Central Park
-Carrie Bradshaw's aprtment
-Hampton Beach
-Jazz bar
-Wall street and 5th ave.
I used the subway, trains, taxi, bus to get to places and above all... my feet!
