day five update — 4 months ago
techinically, i did create some things-to-do lists. so i did accomplish this. still in beginning stages though.

i really need to get a handle on this. i have put some tools into play. i work better with lists and calendars. i need to be on top of this. with school, work, family, writing life, friends, and spiritual work….there is no way i can master my responsibilities without getting my organization on!!!!
i’ve realized that if i feel unorganized about anything, i am very stressed. i want to simplify my social life, family life, belongings, and schedule, and hopefully become a happier person. i want to do this before going back to school so that everything goes by very smoothly.
i’m starting with pretty unimportant things, but each little step makes me feel me composed as a person and puts me in the right directions.
today i started on my wardrobe. this could take a while, so i focused only on jeans. i’m also organizing all of my old schoolwork and notebooks, which inspired me to sort out my massive pen/pencil collection. somehow knowing that i can open my drawer and find a perfectly working pencil puts me in a better mood.

I have realized that my life will never be 100% organized all of the time. It takes way to much effort to try to make things perfect all of the time. Besides, I don’t believe that there is such a thing as perfect.

I have really been working at work lately. I go in and do my job and keep finding things to do until it is time to go home. I had just been sitting around and goofing off most of the time, but actually doing work makes the time go by so much faster.

I got my meds refilled and stocked up on guinea pig stuff. The house has to be cleaned this week because we will have guests in for my sister-in-law’s wedding next weekend. I still have a couple of days off from work so I think I can get it clean before then. I have started writing down every dime I spend to keep track of where my money goes. This will also help me get out of debt.

I cleaned the bathroom this morning. I can now find most of the things I need to streamline my morning routine. This helps me be more productive by helping my mornings be less chaotic.

I need to get things running smoothly again. I need to:
Get up on time
Clean and organize the house
Pay the bills on time
Do my job and not goof off at work
Buy guinea pig crack (treats) before they snap
Get my prescription refilled before I kill someone
These are only a few things I need to do to get things back on track. There are so many other things that I haven’t been doing either. I don’t know what is wrong with me lately, but I need things back to normal.
