Worth doing!

I bought a dumbbell and got into shape, but I ended up wasting a lot of time doing it, I should have taken others’ advice at the beginning.

been walking every day and doing a little of other exercise like sit ups and what not. i found out that i am 2 inches shorter than i thought i was so i need to lose some more wieght to be healthier. i feel good about it, go me!

I am going to try and get back into shape after having my baby. My daughter is already 4 months and I still have a pouch. My goal is to not snack as much and to workout everyday. I have a Wii fit and I love it!!

My goal is to get in shape. I want to be able to do chin ups again! I’ll set a goal for 30 pounds, but ideally 50 pounds would be the magic number. Even 10 pounds would be fantastic!!

i used to go to the campus fitness center with my roomie a few times a week. stepping out into the sunlight after 30 minutes on the elliptical and a few strength-toning exercises would feel great! but…the routine fell away, of course.

i can’t remember the last time i broke into a run…or fast walk. hmm.

i want to find something that i can look forward to doing everyday, simultaneously burning thousands of calories at the same time! i’m thinking that my learning to ballrooom dance goal would fit in with this…

anyone know of regular dancing events/lessons…free ones?? :)

in the meantime, i shall try incoporating more movement into my everyday life (walking…jogging…running, eventually). baby steps are better than nothing! and i have to start doing SOMETHING if i want to run a 5k…someday!!

lose 30 pounds. really in the back of my head, it would be better to lose 50, but realistically, 30 pounds would put in much better health and figure, and when that point is reached, i can always keep going depending on how i feel and what my body needs…

As exercising actually bores me, quite a while ago I decided that the best way for getting into shape for me to set some decent specific goals – specific figures I’d like to be able exercise. Getting into shape should be a side effect of that then too.

I’m dreaming of being able to somersault (salto).

But that’s far off.

Currently, I’d like to be able to do a pull-up and a press-up.
 

To get ahead with it, I could integrate my efforts of getting there into my morning routine. Currently, I like to walk a few kilometers in the morning.

For the pull-up, I’d have a starting point by finding a tree or any other horizontal pole where I could get into practising without getting stared at.

For the press-up, I might find a somewhat hidden place in the same park; hidden for the same reason – to avoid to get stared at.

On the other hand, I could even do it in the open, so I could easily meet other exercising people. Maybe I could learn this or that from them; and they probably wouldn’t bother to stare at me.

i hope these feeling is enough for u to feel being on top of the world!
At least u can wear anything u want!

i just get to it by playing vaollyball twice a week..it works 4 me!
