How to read all Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett by Scio

"It wasn't hard at all, really, it's one of those things that you know you will finish it once you start. It was narrative-imperatively inevitable!"

How I did it: I just started with collecting as many as I could, (I didn't know about the little tangents—the short stories and other "spinoffs") but was quickly overwhelmed with choice, where to start?

Frankly you can start anywhere and read to your hearts content, but I found reading chronologically to be least hassle. Although I myself read the books of each sub-series in order, according to this rather helpful guide at L-Space.

And then there really was no way to stop.

Resources: I got a bit confused at first and wikipedia and the L-Space helped.

    Today I went to the library, and rented Terry Pratchett’s “Wintersmith”, and started reading it!

    I’ve not read any of his books before, but I watched “Hogfather” and “The Colour Of Magic” awhile ago, and enjoyed them, and I thought I should read more, so thought I’d read some Terry Pratchett!

    I always wanted to read his books, but never got around to get them or borrow. Now I have an Iphone and I bought the whole collection very cheap and can read it wherever I go.
    Lets see how long it takes me, right now I’m still motivated and in the middle of books three and I will do it chronologically.

    I’ve only read The Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic so far, though I read Mort a long time ago…I’m starting Equal Rites tomorrow, and I can’t wait to get through these! I’ve been using www.paperbackswap.com to get the full series, because they are too expensive to buy all 36 of them! I fully recommend that site…plus you can get my books when I’m done with them! Enticing, I know.
