go back to Rome

I visited Rome this summer for the first time…heard mixed reviews on the city. I fell in love with it the moment I stepped foot on the streets. This is one of the most amazing cities I’ve ever seen in my life. Words can’t even explain it. It’s just spectacular. There’s something to be said for walking down a little side street and all of a sudden – BAM! – you are staring at the Pantheon! The sheer magnitude of it all is overwhelming. To be surrounded by such history…it’s something you will never forget.

Earlier this year we went to Europe and Rome was one of the city’s we visited. I had always wanted to go to Rome and now that I did, it doesn’t feel real and I want to do more in the city.

I fell in love with the city in 1992 and threw a coin into the Trevi fountain backwards to be sure that I’d go back. It’s been too long an absence. It’s time, soon, to rekindle the love affair.
