How I did it: I found my aunt lisa my moms sister. My mom passed away in September 2008. I had been looking for her for 12 years. and it took me this long... but it was worth it.. i love my mom Lessons & tips: never give up hope. I was born in EL Salvador in 1975…Santa Tecla specifically. My given name when I was brought to the orphanage was Hilda, it was changed once I was adopted. I do not know what my last name was. I have been told that I may have brothers and that my parents, one or both have since passed away. I know that the orphanage I was in, has been torn down.
