get my learners driving permit

YES! Free driving lessons this summer! You complete the course in a week and you drive for a full day instead of taking a long test and having to memorize so much! It’s just down the street, so I can easily get there and back :)

I only have to wait 43 more days until I can take the test!

Another delay! (and this one’s kind of big) I’m ready to take the written test but I can’t seem to find my birth certificate (which my mom lost) and I though I knew where my passport was but it wasn’t where thought it was and I can’t seem to find it and I haven’t used it in a year so I have no clue where it is. How do you go about getting a copy of this stuff?
And I need some form of identification to take the learners permit. I do have a California ID but I don’t know if that’s good enough.

well I got my learners permit last august and last february I passed the driving portion so I am now a licensed driver.

I need to clean my room and find my CA-ID card. I don’t even know if I need that to take the test. It might save me time at the DMV… and that’s the other thing…I’m impatient and I dread the crowded long wait there. I’m wondering if these are valid reasons or excuses still masking my fear of facing this diving-fear once more. But either way, I think taking this step will give me some momentum.
