learn to purl

My MIL taught me last Thanksgiving, how to knit and purl…but over the months, I forgot how to purl. The other night, I went to this site:

And watched over and over…and I’ve got it! Yay!

A random lady at the ballgame taught me to purl tonight, though I still can’t tell if I really KNOW because I haven’t used it yet. Still, I love it when random strangers coincidentally teach you things.

I have been trying to purl for quite a long time now, but nothing seems to work. It always ends up simply appearing twisted. I have an excellent project in mind for when I learn this, which I believe will be in a few months, when my Memaw Betty comes in for my graduation.
