get into caltech

Are you guys grad students or what….am presently doing my masters…hope I shall be able to get into caltech for my phd, though I dont know whether I am aiming too high. Only time can tell. But I hope aiming for Caltech will atleast get me into some other good group in the top schools for my specialization. My specialization is in nanoscience.

Yeah…I got MIT too, so idk what I’m going to do. It’ll be a rough decision, but I can’t wait for Prefrosh!

I love physics, and I know the best place to learn physics is Caltech. I will be there in 2008.

I lived in California for 2 weeks this summer because my brother lives there & I am from PA. I fell in love. It sounds stupid, but I really cried for a long time when I got home because I missed it so much. I felt such a strong connection to Cali, like it was made for me and this is where I belong. CalTech is amazing, I went to the campus when I was there and while LA is a little too hot for me, I’d prefer Santa Barbara, where there is no humidity, or summer San Fran, it is perfect for me. I am #2 in my class and will major in chemical engineering to later be a chemist for cosmetics. CalTech isn’t an uptight science school, which is important to me. I graduate high school in 2008. Hope to see some of you there =]

Oh yeah, Caltech. I just want to work with some of the greatest minds on this planet. Caltech’s been the dream I had for a while. Plus, if by some miracle I get free time there (let alone the miracle of getting IN there), I can march PCC Lancers Band and be in the Tournament of Roses Honor Band!

I would have to say getting into Caltech is my biggest dream. I don’t know exactly why, but i have this huge desire – i guess even a calling – to go there. It is definitly the best school for math and science, and plus, it’s in CA! I have always wanted to live in California (even though its all the way on the other side of the country). Caltech just sounds so perfect. The only problem is that it is sooo hard to get in! Oh well.. I’ll just keep trying my hardest…
