How to get into uni
It made me
believe in myself.

How I did it: I never thought I'd manage to get into Fashion at Central Saint Martins, let alone at 17! But, I did, and it was all thanks to a strong portfolio and making it clear I'd be able to handle living alone in London at such a young age. There were some tricky interview questions but I handled it all well and I'm starting in September. :) |

How I did it: i decided that because i couldnt get a job uni was probably my next best option so i went on line and had a look at the courses there wasnt much i wanted to do but i pick Buisness becuase as long as i had a degree up my sleeve it will be easier to get a job, so i applyed and went through alll there checks and forms and then they accepted me Read how I did it…

How I did it: i turned 17, decided i wanted to go to university, went to a few open days, decided to apply to plymouth amongst others,applied through UCAS, wrote a personal statement, sent it off, did a lot of pannicing and eventually got in to plymouth!!:D Read how I did it…

At first, the idea really frightened me.
But after I talked it over with my parents I think it’s not as bad a thing as I might have thought.
If it’s what I need to do to get my degree, then it’s worth it.
And my parents also assured my that I was welcome to stay at home, so that’s a weight off my shoulders too.
So all I really need to do is wait for my exam results!

from UWS saying that I can have an interview…
SCARED!
I don’t even know if it’s worth going, because it’s far and I’ll not be good enough anyway.
But my Mum said I should go to the interview just to see, so I guess I might as well…
I’ll need someone to come with me…

that they got a letter in from one of the Uni’s I applied for iviting them to come for an interview for the same course.
Do you think that means they don’t want me?

Well, I didn’t get into my course, so I’m doing TAFE instead. Diploma of Costume for Performance. YAY

i dunno if i can do this though because i basically failes yr 12 and now i have to resit the year, and i know that most unis dont like resit students but i really want to go to uni and get a good job

I’m trying to pick which university I should go to. I think I’ve done pretty good so far so I should get a decent or fabulous entrance score. I’ve narrowed down the universities to the ones closest and visited the second campus of this uni I’ve been in love with since I was a kid. The first campus in my home town (not where I’m living atm) is gorgeous with old style buildings and plenty of grass. This new one looks like a metal can hacked up and put together. It looks horrible, there is a teeny tiny oval and the only thing you can do is walk about half a kilometre to the shopping centre. Also, it’s like an hour away from my home :( Damn. I really need to get my preferences in!
